These terms apply to your use of PersonPhoto at personphoto.com (the "service"), operated by Anubhav Tripathi ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

The service turns a photo you provide into a passport-size photo: it removes the background, adds white, straightens and crops to the size you choose. The preview is free. Downloading the final photo costs ₹2.

2. Price and payment

• ₹2 per photo. This is the full price; there are no other charges from us.
• Payment is by UPI through Razorpay. Your download unlocks only after Razorpay confirms the payment to us. A screenshot or an "I have paid" claim is not accepted as proof.
• One payment covers one photo. While your page is open you can re-download it, switch between the 3.5 × 4.5 cm and 2 × 2 inch sizes, and adjust the framing at no extra cost. A different photo is a new purchase.

3. No guarantee of acceptance

We follow the published Indian passport photo specifications. Whether a photo is accepted is decided only by the passport office, mission or authority you submit it to. Official guidelines say photos should be unaltered by computer software. We replace only the background and never retouch your face, but some offices may still ask for a studio photo. Check the requirements that apply to you before submitting. We are not responsible for a rejection.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use photos of yourself, or of someone who has consented or for whom you are the parent or guardian.
• Use the service lawfully. Do not use it for impersonation, forgery or fraud.
• Do not overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or try to bypass the payment step.

5. Your photo

You keep all rights to your photo. We claim none and do not store it. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Refunds and cancellation

• Paid but couldn't download: if your payment was confirmed but you couldn't get your photo, email us within 7 days with your UPI transaction ID. We will help you download it or refund the full ₹2.
• Charged twice: duplicate payments for the same photo are refunded in full.
• Failed payments: if money was debited but the payment failed, your bank reverses it automatically, usually within 5–7 working days.
• Because you see the photo before paying, we don't offer refunds for a change of mind after a successful download.
• Approved refunds go back to your original UPI account through Razorpay within 5–7 working days.
• Orders are completed instantly, so there is nothing to cancel after payment. Before payment, you can simply close the page.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the photo concerned.

8. Not a government service

This is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of India, the Ministry of External Affairs or Passport Seva.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
